What facilities do your rooms have?

The room furnishings include a bed (90cm, 160cm or 180cm depending on the category), a private bathroom with shower, a (fold-out) desk, a TV, a hairdryer, a closet and towels. Of course, high-speed WiFi is also available free of charge throughout the house. All rooms are non-smoking. Some rooms have an additional plateau (suitable for ages 5 and up) and can be booked for up to 3 people. If you wish, we can put a baby travel cot in your room free of charge. Children up to 2 years old are free guests.

Is there a kitchen?

Instead of a standard hotel breakfast, we offer you the use of our lounge on the 2nd floor. Here you will find a small kitchen with a stove, oven, dishwasher and refrigerator, a small selection of cereals, yogurt and milk, a coffee machine, a tea maker with a selection of teas, and a refrigerator with a selection of drinks.

How about parking?

We have 3 own parking spaces in the inner courtyard. The parking spaces can be used for €5/night. These cannot be reserved and are only available while stocks last. Please understand that our parking spaces are designed for normal cars.

Are the rooms barrier-free?​

Our house and all our rooms are barrier-free. We also have 2 rooms that are suitable for wheelchair users.

Do you offer breakfast?

We don’t have a usual hotel breakfast, but we offer our guests a small selection of cereals, as well as yoghurt and milk (including oat milk), which is included in the room price.
You are also welcome to use our refrigerator for what you bring with you. You can also purchase drinks and coffee/tea in our lounge at fair prices.

Until when can I cancel free of charge?

The options for canceling free of charge depend entirely on the rate that is booked. Our flexible “feuerfrei” rate can be canceled free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. After that, the full amount will be collected and the room can no longer be canceled. The fixed “feuerfest” rate is a 10% discount off the regular room rate and cannot be canceled once booked.

How far away is the nearest public transport connection?

The Barmbek U/S train station is about a 5-minute walk from our house. The Ringbahn U3 and the S1 run here. The city, the airport and the main station can be reached in around 15 minutes.

Are pets allowed?​

Unfortunately, no pets are allowed in our house.

I would like to pay cash on site. Is that possible?

Unfortunately we do not accept cash payments. Payment is generally made in advance by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card. In exceptional cases, payment can be made on site by card (giro, EC).

I would spontaneously like to accommodate one more person. How do I do that?

We generally have to record all people who use our accommodation offer. Additional people cannot be accommodated without prior registration and confirmation. Small children and babies must also be specified when booking.

How does check-in work?

Our house has no reception. Therefore, check-in takes place independently. You will receive a code to the house two days before arrival. You can then check in in the entrance area using a tablet. Here you must provide your names and other reportable data. Your card will then be coded using instructions. Take a look at the video to get an impression.
Oh yes, if there are any problems or you need help, we are available at any time and always in the house, even during the day.

How does check-out work?

Please check out by 11am during the week. On Saturdays and Sundays until 12 p.m. A later check-out is only possible on request.
Please check out at the terminal on the ground floor and finally throw your card into the check-out box.
